Faye & Omar - a new way to process -

I covered Faye & Omar's wedding at Anstey Hall in Cambridge on 2nd July. I wanted to keep with Fayes 'retro' wedding theme and develop the photographs in a different way. So I spend a little time making my own Photoshop develop actions. I was aiming for an old skool grain with low contrast.
Sure, Silver efex2 and similar third party plugins do this, but they are very very slow when processing hundreds of files. I'm very pleased with the overall feel, and also created a gentle film shift for colour images too. Heres a few samples...

On Location shoot:

Shoot at 'The Cambridge Muesum of Technology' Based in the original sewage pumping station for Cambridge, the Museum of Technology exists to preserve and exhibit material that is relevant to the Cambridge area. Just want to say a huge thank you to Mark Palmer the manager at the old pump house for kindly letting us in. Heres afew shots taken that day.
Processd from RAW Canon files, using my wonderful new CS4 action scripts. Chocolate mid tones, and cross processing color All with natural light, no flash allowed.

Here are a few sample images from Lucy & Phil's wedding.  I had been looking forward to this day having met Lucy & Phil a few years ago, while covering the wedding of 'Jo & John' (who are now great friends).  Lucy looked amazing, and Phil was very smart!  Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome on the day, and a big thanks to Joss for driving me to the wedding.
